In your healthy weight loss program you must eat a healthy diet. The most important meal of the day is breakfast, and I try to start each day off right. As you know you should eat often, eat less, and eat healthy to lose weight and stay healthy. You should eat a small meal every 2 to 3 hours. Also drink plenty of water. So this is how my morning typically goes.

Up at the Crack of Dawn.

I am a morning person and am generally up around 5:30 am. That is not a requirement for a healthy lifestyle, its just who I am. So by 8:30 in the morning I have accomplished a lot, because it is quiet around my house early in the morning. So when I crawl out of bed I start the day with a glass of water, go sit at the computer read my emails and maybe play a game while I gather my thought and get my bearings. After about 15 to 20 minutes its the morning snack for me. This morning I had a half of a honey dew melon. Then after another glass of water it was off to devotion. Drinking a lot of water in the morning helps. Early morning water regime can be called as best fat burner.

Morning Devotion.

This is my favorite time of the morning. The rest of the morning is work and preparation. Devotion is time to meditate and focus my thoughts as I read and study God’s Word. In the peace of the morning I can read His Word and see how it applies to my life. So often the Word that I am studying applies to situations going on in my life as we study his word now. My devotion time is more than just a time to read, study, reflect and meditate on God’s Holy Word. My devotion time is spent on my elliptical exerciser. For 15 to 30 minutes I am walking at a moderate pa as I gradually work the resistance level up to 5 or 6. For 15 to 30 minutes I read, reflect and meditate on Gods Word as I walk on my elliptical. Once I have gotten an understanding or revelation I put my bible done and increase the intensity for 15 to 30 minutes. Now I may start off still focused on the Lord but as my intensity and speed increases my attention turns to completing my work out. What ever goals I set for my morning work out become the focus for that final 15 minutes or so. Then the cool down.

Breakfast Time.

Though I am usually drenching with sweat now it is time to get into the day. Devotion and exercise has set the ground work for the day and it is now time to prepare breakfast and lunch. First another glass of water. (That’s right by 7:00 I have drank 2 to 3 glasses of water. How else can you get 8 to 10 in a day.) A quick wash up and prepare lunch. Usually a salad with spinach and other types of lettuce. My salads always have tomatoes, green peppers and onions. From there they differ greatly everyday. I had fruit, nuts, raisins and many other vegetables to keep the variety fresh.

Now for Breakfast.

Today I had a bowl of crunchy granola raisin bran cereal with a few extra raisins added in and a half a pint of blueberries. One serving (which is what I usually have) is one cup of cereal and one half a cup of low fat milk. The total calories with the cereal, blueberries and low fat milk is 310. I will explain the nutrition values of this meal in another article, but the important part is that I have had 2 meals of the six I have daily, full of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and antioxidants. I have had very little fat, sugar or sodium (The low fat milk was highest in the fat, sugar and sodium in this breakfast) all for around 350 calories. I burned 800 calories so my morning snack, breakfast, and lunch are free.

Start your healthy weight loss program off right each morning when you eat a healthy diet starting with breakfast. Spend time in devotion and with God every morning. Exercise and you have the recipe to a successful morning and a great day.

Having a great start to the day with healthy breakfast and a spirituous day makes a lot of difference when someone wishes to lose weight. Losing weight can be a lot of fun if all the steps are followed properly and when the person shows consistency in losing weight. Being consistent can only help because there can be no way out.
